Job duties:
Product sourcing and price negotiation
Negotiate for best quality, lead time, price and commercial terms
Work closely with vendors on executing and managing all sourcing and purchasing activities
Liaison between supplier and customer for technical issues
Develop and evaluate supplier relationship and performance
Execute supplier assessment activities and follow up corrective actions
Manage inventory and eliminate obsolescence whenever possible
To take up ad hoc duties and projects assigned by your manager
Requirement:
Diploma or above in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 3 years experience in metal industry
Solid world-wide vendor sourcing base for metal components (AL, Steel etc.)
Good PC knowledge, including CAD, ProE/SolidWork, MS Word, Excel & Chinese WP
Good communication and negotiation skills
Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Willing to travel |
